Preston and Brittney moved to Westgate in February 2020. Covid made meeting neighbors difficult so they focused their energy on renovations and cleaning up the yard. As soon as the cautions were lifted, Preston and Brittney made sure they started meeting and greeting people around the neighborhood. This lead to the discovery of a voluntary HOA that had been in place since the early 1980's. They joined without hesitation and, three years later, Preston was voted to lead the organization. He hopes to impact the community through modernizing communications between neighbors, as well as removing the stigma with which HOA's are associated. He and Brittney strongly believe neighborhoods should be friendly, safe places to raise a family and to be family for those who have none.
